Ben Bowman (Level 1 Mondays) is an award-winning director who has been studying and performing improv in Chicago since 2000. He's performed and directed sketch and improv shows at Second City, iO, Annoyance, ComedySportz, Public House, CiC, Upstairs Gallery, Stage 773, and the Playground. His shows have been praised by The Onion A.V. Club, Time Out Chicago, Newcity Stage, the Chicago Reader, and RedEye. Mishell Livio (Level 1 Tuesdays) has worked professionally as a morning radio host (currently on WKQX Saturday Mornings), as an actress on television and in film and as a print and runway model. She is a graduate of UCBLA, iO West and the Second City Los Angeles. In LA, she coached a few indie long form teams and shadow coached at iO West under Brandon Sornberger. In Utah, she performed with the Laughing Stock improv troupe and coached a few musical and non-musical improv teams. In Arizona, she helped adapt and teach the DSI curriculum (short and long form improv) at the Tucson Improv Movement (TIM). Jeremy Sender (Level 1 Saturdays) is a performer and director on the Under the Gu ensemble. He started improvising at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre - Los Angele, where he performed Harolds with the house team Shadowfa. In Chicago, he regularly performs at Under The Gun, iO Chicag, and The Den Theatr. He is also a regular contributor to the The iO Comedy Networ with his sketch duo, Todd's Friend Tod. Justin Hamby (Level 2) A transplant from Durango, Colorado, Justin is a graduate of Second City, iO, Comedysportz, and Under the Gun Theatre’s respective training centers. He recently completed production of Goy to the World, and a Happy Jew Year and Pure Elegance at the Public House Theatre, and recently wrote and directed 12 Angry Candidates and The Miracle Walker: A Tale of Two Bushes. Justin is a big proponent of real-time feedback and practical application of improv techniques. His focus is more analytical in breaking down the scene and finding ways to enhance each student's unique voice.
